These WordPress Installation Service Terms ("Service Terms") apply when you order our WordPress Installation service (the "Service") from Yung Yi doing business as Web Integrate, Houston, Texas, USA ("Web Integrate," "we," "us," or "our").
Our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy also apply. If these Service Terms conflict with the Terms & Conditions, these Service Terms control for the Service.
By sending us an installation request or paying for the Service, you agree to these Service Terms. If you order for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business.
1. The Service
1.1 Price
The Service costs US $25 per installation. One installation means one WordPress site on one domain or subdomain. Applicable sales tax is added to the amount you pay.
1.2 What is included
- Installing the latest version of WordPress on your existing hosting account and domain
- Creating the WordPress database and configuration on your hosting account
- Checking that your site loads over HTTPS (if your host provides an SSL certificate)
- Installing and activating one of our free themes (for example, Savor or Bright Smile) and our free plugins, if you want them
- Basic settings: site title, tagline, language, time zone, and permalink structure
- Creating your WordPress administrator account and sending you the login details
- Removing WordPress's default sample content
1.3 What is not included
The following are not part of the Service. We can offer them as separate paid work:
- buying or renewing hosting, a domain, or an SSL certificate;
- moving (migrating) an existing website, or changing DNS or email settings;
- adding your content, photos, menus, or products;
- design customization, custom code, or third-party themes and plugins;
- setting up email delivery (SMTP), backups, security services, or Pro plugin licenses; and
- ongoing maintenance, updates, or hosting support after delivery.
2. How It Works
- Request. You send us an installation request with your domain and hosting provider.
- Check. We confirm that your hosting can run WordPress (see Section 3.2). If it cannot, we tell you before you pay anything.
- Payment. We email you a secure payment link, and you pay by card. Payment is due before we start. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms and privacy policy; we never see your full card number.
- Access. You give us the access described in Section 3, using a method from Section 4.
- Installation. We complete the installation within 3 business days after we receive both payment and working access. This is a target, not a guarantee; delays at your hosting provider can affect it.
- Delivery. We send you your administrator login and a short summary of what we did. You then change the passwords as described in Section 5.
3. Information You Must Provide
To do the work, we need accurate and complete information. We cannot start until we have it.
3.1 Required information
| Information | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name, business name, and email address | To contact you and send your payment link, receipt, and login details |
The domain or subdomain for the site (for example, example.com or shop.example.com) |
To know where to install WordPress |
| Your hosting provider's name | To follow that provider's setup steps |
| Access to your hosting account, either a control panel login (such as cPanel, Plesk, or your host's own panel) or SFTP/SSH access plus a way to create a database | To upload WordPress and create its database |
| The email address and username you want for your WordPress administrator account | To create your account |
| Site title, language, and time zone | Basic settings |
| Which of our free themes and plugins to install, if any | Optional setup |
3.2 Your hosting must meet these requirements
- PHP 7.4 or later (8.1 or later recommended)
- MySQL 5.7 or later, or MariaDB 10.4 or later
- Your domain already points to your hosting account
- Enough disk space and permission to create a database
3.3 Information we do not need
Please do not send us your hosting account's billing details, your domain registrar's password, your email account passwords, or any of your customers' personal data. We will never ask for your card number or bank details.
4. How to Give Us Access Safely
Use the first option your hosting provider supports:
- Delegated access (preferred). Many hosts let you add us as a user, collaborator, or developer on your account without sharing your own password. If your host offers this, please use it.
- A temporary login. Create a temporary FTP/SFTP user or temporary control panel password for us, and remove or change it after we finish.
- Your main login, only if there is no other option. Change the password after we finish.
Do not send passwords through our website forms, in the same email as your username, or by text message. We will tell you how to send them securely (for example, through a one-time secret link that expires after it is opened).
5. How We Handle Your Access Information
- We use your access information only to perform the Service for the site you ordered. We will not access other sites, email accounts, or files on your hosting account beyond what the installation requires.
- We keep login details in an encrypted password manager while the work is in progress, and delete them within 7 days after delivery (or after you cancel).
- After delivery, you must change any password you shared with us and remove any temporary or delegated access. We are not responsible for access to your account after delivery if you do not.
- We do not keep copies of your website's files or database after delivery.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Authority. You confirm that you own the hosting account and domain, or have written permission from the owner to give us access and to order the Service.
- Existing content. If something already exists at the domain or on the hosting account, back it up before giving us access. We will not delete or overwrite an existing website without your written confirmation, and we are not responsible for loss of content you did not back up.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for the information you give us. If the information is wrong or the access does not work, we will pause the work until you fix it.
- After delivery. You are responsible for your site, including WordPress, theme, and plugin updates, backups, security, and your hosting account.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Before we start: you may cancel for a full refund.
- If we cannot complete the installation because of a problem on our side, or because your hosting does not meet the requirements in Section 3.2 and we did not catch it during our check, we will give you a full refund.
- If you do not provide working access within 30 days after payment, we may close the order and refund your payment, minus any payment processing fees.
- After delivery: the Service is complete and is not refundable. However, if something we installed does not work as described in Section 1.2, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will fix it at no charge.
- This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
- We perform the Service with reasonable care and skill. Your hosting provider controls your server, and we are not responsible for its outages, limits, security, or changes.
- The Disclaimers (Section 9), Limitation of Liability (Section 10), and Indemnification (Section 11) of our Terms & Conditions also apply to the Service. For the Service, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update these Service Terms. The version in effect when you pay applies to that order.
